Fun Day!

I let Ian ditch school today and me and Teva took the kids to Durango Pool. It was a blast! The kids were so good, and I am so glad we went.

Ian is getting to be such a good swimmer, he went in the lazy river and "toilet bowl" all by himself!

He and Tuesday both dominated the big slide too. Teva caught Tuesday when she came down and they went over and over again.

For the first hour, Stevie had a death grip around my neck and was so scared..and the second hour she was evil kneivel and didn't want me to touch her, she would fall under and I'd grab her then immediately she would escape my grasp so she could go again. I'm so glad she's a water baby, but she has no fear (except for the first hour apparently)

Life is amazing. I love my kids!

I love warm weather and I feel it coming on :)

Switching it up

Last night, for the first night since we moved in (3+ years) we had NO KIDS sleeping in our room (I'm not counting our large master closet).

It was amazing!

FINALLY I can pretend to get some sleep.

It was a bit rough, because Stevie was pissed about not getting to share a bed with me or keep me up all night on the couch. But eventually, she got over it and fell asleep.

Stevie took over Asa's closet and his crib.

I tore down her crib today, so now-for the first time ever....our bedroom has no crib in it:) moving on up! ;)

Asa did so well sleeping in the kids' room with Ian and Tuesday! He has been waking up before 5am every morning and he almost made it to 6:00 this morning. He was the last of the kids to wake up.

Amazing.

I have a feeling things are going to start looking up... :)

heck...maybe the bags under my eyes will disappear...

24th of July-Play

I can't believe I didn't get any pictures of Ian going on the Dunking Booth!! He was amazing and did it over and over again.

Stevie hung out with extended family in the shade while I watched Asa and Tuesday play on the slip-n-slide.

Oh the joys of the 24th celebration :)

That was a heavy load Arin had to haul, but they had a blast and he survived!
